The phythagorean therom is a lie! Or rather, only part of the story!! The real equation is

c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2abCos(C)

The only reason it works as c^2 = a^2 + b^2 with right triangles is because Cos(90)=0!!!
This equation works for all triangles and that pretty much blows my mind!!
